Psst Are you a brand, artist, shelter, or dog looking to get on Dogly?
In the attached video you will learn to teach "SPIN" this cute trick is one that most dogs catch onto fairly quickly.
What you will need:
A dog (or cat)
A clicker or marker
Some yummy treats or kibble
A dog who has a general understand of luring or shaping
A positive attitude
I love teaching tricks for so many reasons:
Tricks should always be low pressure and fun. Unless you want to be a professional trick trainer and compete with your dog, teaching basic tricks is a wonderful way to just sit for a few minutes and be silly with your dog. Tricks are also a great way to help your dog use their brain on something new on rainy days or when you can't get out for "normal" activities.
Tricks can also be a wonderful way for children or guests to interact with your dog without the pressure of petting or getting too close.
